Showe33 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I have been trying to find a place where I can track down music used at the Rogers Centre for ages, and I'm running out of ideas. I've been scouring the internet for whatever sports-related music I can find in hopes of running across some of the tunes, but it's a tiring and fruitless effort. I'm hoping someone here is as much of an audiophile as I am, and can throw out some ideas. Some stadiums/arenas are kind enough to list their music like this : https://www.nhl.com/senators/fans/home-game-music but I can't find anything like that for Jays games. Unfortunately I don't usually have the data needed to run something like Shazam on my phone, and it doesn't always work when I want (the crowd, and echo can throw off the app). I would be greatly thankful for anyone who can help me figure out some of the music. As for walk-up songs, I've got those covered. I'm looking more for the stuff thats used in the early stage of the game when the video board shows off the days line up, or plays some sort of pump-up video. I'm not sure where this thread fits into, I'm hoping it won't be deleted. Thanks in advance Showe33
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 If the song had lyrics, I find typing a string of those lyrics into Google will usually find it, no matter how obscure it might be. Hope that helps
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Sorry i don't think i can be any help to your questions but i'm sure someone will be able to answer. This song was absolutely critical in the success of the Jays win today though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrvjAmzLJCA
Showe33 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 Thats a good point, I've scribbled down lyrics before, or text them to myself so i don't forget. The music I struggle to find is the instrumental stuff. Usually some techno-pump up type song. Thanks for the idea

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Spotify has a playlist of Blue Jays walkup music, although I'm not sure it's updated for this year.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Download the MLB Ballpark App. It has player and team music on it. Additionally, they have a "Blue Jays Music" section on the teams website, that shows the same music. It hasn't updated yet but perhaps it will soon, here's the link: http://mlb.mlb.com/fan_forum/ballpark_music.jsp?c_id=tor
Showe33 Verified Member Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 I’ve downlaoded the app, but I don’t see any section for music. The blue jays team page does show player music, but I’m not looking for the walk up songs, it’s the other instrumental stuff used at the early parts of the game
