jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Matt Davidson strikes again! 6 RBIs in just 2 games.. there are guys that get that in a month! Of course, shoddy Royals pitching helps.. Matt Davidson has a 870 wRC+ for the year. Decent.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Ugh, why can't the Rays score? It has been painful to watch the Rays so far this season.. must be tough for a team with zero power hitters. When are the two weeks gonna come before the Rays can start calling up Bauers, Adames, Arroyo, etc.. this is so painful to see.
CraigG Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Matt Davidson has a 870 wRC+ for the year. Decent. Yeah, and JP Arencibia had an OPS of 3.000 after his first day in the bigs. Matt Davidson is going to fade so fast it's not even funny.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Yeah, and JP Arencibia had an OPS of 3.000 to start the season. Matt Davidson is going to fade so fast it's not even funny. Save it for when the Sox come to Toronto Monday..

CraigG Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Are you implying that a 870 wRC+ is not sustainable? Matt Davidson is going to be below 100 wRC+ but the end of the season.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Gibson no-hitting the f****** O's thru 5 innings.. and Davis is NOT a leadoff guy. Why are they even doing this?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Matt Davidson is going to be below 100 wRC+ but the end of the season. Bold.
CraigG Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Gibson no-hitting the f****** O's thru 5 innings.. and Davis is NOT a leadoff guy. Why are they even doing this? Nobody on the O's wants to walk though, other than Davis.. it's hilarious. Jones... nope Mancini... nope Schoop... no way Jones... def nope And you're not having Machado bat lead off.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 What is the penalty for visiting the mound over 6 times?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 UPDATE: No hitter through 7 now--and it's now a combined no-hitter, as Molitor chose keeping Gibson healthy the rest of the season over having him trying for a no-hitter in his first start.

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 MLB.TV got rid of quad screen? Yeah, it looks like they opted to strip it of all of its useful features.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 They moved the stats from below the video feed to directly on top of the video feed so you can't see the game. Because I don't know. It's honestly horrible now. Even the Statcast overlay (which is just a pitch location tracker) is not able to be moved around, so of course it sits right on top of every broadcast's scoreboard overlay.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Rays lose. Good god they need power..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Royals bullpen just collapsed again. Sox now lead 4-3..
CraigG Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I suspect Thames will be back to below league average now that all his PEDs from playing in KO have fully worn off.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Lol good ole Ned Yost putting Goins in to pinch-hit with a runner on and down a run in the 9th

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Author Posted April 1, 2018 Goins promptly struck out on three pitches, by the way.
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Just a pleasant reminder of how nice it is to not be seeing him with the Jays this year
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Tie game again in Miami--the Cubs are really having trouble beating the rebuilding Marlins.. yet the Red Sox are having no trouble against their AL counterparts. In case you're wondering who's left on both bullpens that are usable: CUBS: Montgomery (maybe) Morrow Justin Wilson not available (threw 36 pitches last night) Butler not available (90 pitches last night).. MARLINS: Tayron Guerrero The chance of a position player or starting pitcher pitching in this game if it goes deep into extras is very high..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 POSITION PLAYER ALERT! Pedro Florimon pitched the 8th in Atlanta tonight in the Braves' 15-2 rout of the Phillies. 27 runs by Atlanta so far this series.. Phillies pitching is really awful due to the Neshek and Hunter injuries, plus bad SP. Hurry up Arrieta! Oh, and Florimon gave up a HR to Lane Adams.. seriously? Lane Adams?
5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Good grief, I would've thought that the Cubbies would demolish the Fish in this series. Marlins are giving em a run for their money.

Marlins are giving em a run for their money. Outside of the bottom of the order (until Riddle and JT Realmuto return), there's some potential in that lineup. They've been really scrappy.. And extras AGAIN!!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Kris Bryant finally close to putting this game out of its misery with a 3 run double. Montgomery in to close it out (surprisingly--thought we'd see Morrow).
