Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Meh....Bosox up by 5 now...oh well.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I wonder if Stroman had a blister issue again? It was kind of strange how he left.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Chapman has his really good fastball today. That's just nuts.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 Probably the right thing to take him out if he was dealing with something since he got his 200ip
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I just saw the highlight of the Judge homer - that ball was absolutely obliterated.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Blue Jays October baseball begins tomorrow........and ends tomorrow.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Josh Donaldson: Let's hope he does stay here... September 2018/ Full season 2019 Alford- LF Bo- 2B Donaldson- 3B Vlad- 1B Teoscar- RF Tulo- SS Travis- DH Martin- C Pillar- CF
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Let's hope he does stay here... September 2018/ Full season 2019 Alford- LF Bo- 2B Donaldson- 3B Vlad- 1B Teoscar- RF Tulo- SS Travis- DH Martin- C Pillar- CF I wouldn't mind moving on from Pillar. He's regressed defensively this year and he's limited offensively
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I wouldn't mind moving on from Pillar. He's regressed defensively this year and he's limited offensively The question would be, can we replace him at the kind of value he currently represents? He may be a guy who you keep until free agency, then part ways with.

He's spent a few years diving on cement, he's going to start breaking down and when he loses his defensive ability he will become useless as a starter
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Tabler just said Goins is having a career year .238/.288/.359 70 wRC+ and a -0.3 fWAR
BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Tabler just said Goins is having a career year .238/.288/.359 70 wRC+ and a -0.3 fWAR but the bases loaded at bats tho
Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 but the bases loaded at bats tho And his ability to play the game the right way
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Tabler just said Goins is having a career year .238/.288/.359 70 wRC+ and a -0.3 fWAR He's been saying that for awhile, constantly mentioning the RBIs... I feel like there's going to be a lot of surprised faces when he's eventually released and no other team jumps in to pick him up.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Sign a FA to replace an OF spot and hope Alford hits his potential and becomes the CF. I'd kinda like to see Alford get a full season at AAA next year.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I'd kinda like to see Alford get a full season at AAA next year. So would I. No rush in getting rid of Pillar. He'd probably be a decent 4th OF even.

Rusty_Savage Verified Member Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 He kind of is. He's just had a really s***** career. He had a decent year in '15, but yeah I see what your saying
