Had a chance to go into the break with confidence and momentum instead now there's just more questions about the rotation. I could see taking a series from the best team in the league being a huge turning point but a split with 2 gong show blowouts doesn't do much to inspire confidence.

The Astros are really, really good, that's what happened. Seriously though, Donaldson threw a ball away (on a great play to nab the ball mind you), and the Astros made us pay.

This Blue Jays team is just plain bad. At least Justin Smoak has been a bright spot. But, Pillar has gone back to being Pillar, Goins has been a disappointment as usual, Devon Travis continues his history of being injured, Tulowitzki is a declining veteran, Martin hasn't been anything special behind the plate or at the plate, Steve Pearce seems to have a very low baseball IQ, Bautista just sickens me, Donaldson is still good most of the time, and the starting pitching has been inconsistent at best.

 

But they have a chance to get to 0.500 by the end of the season and be mediocre. LOL
