admin Site Manager Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 I find Wilner's arrogance surpasses his knowledge. Kind of a low rent Keith Law in that respect but with less knowledge and more bias of course. Thing is though is that I haven't listened to his show in years. It used to be relevant to the kind of fan I was and now I no longer find it relevant and I don't bother listening to something that would likely just irritate me. Like you said... If you want better less biased analysis, simply look elsewhere. Heck, you can pretty regularly find less biased more thorough analysis on this very board. That's the problem. He's not exactly the smartest baseball guy, but is arrogant like he is. And what's worse is he'll just cut you off if you argue or try to make a point.
The Iceman Verified Member Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Wilner does a great job post game. Dude gets so much air time that you can't expect a fresh new take on the same stuff every day. I find him entertaining. Where i am getting sick is listening to the fake positives from Buck Joe and Tabler. Well look...the Jays are only 6 games from the wild card. Or the other day a nice little start by Bolsinger. Or he is really starting to swing the bat well (Insert struggling Jays name here) Horrible to listen to and just reaching for straws.

"Ryan Goins has a lot of confidence at the plate. That comes from getting regular ABs. He's getting really comfortable at the plate." *looks at Goins' numbers and his wRC+ is an awful 63 So either Buck and Tabby are talking ******** or Ryan Goins is so confident despite such horrible numbers that he's now in the realm of blind arrogance.
