Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 If that was Morales he's probably thrown out at third. I'm pretty sure Morales is not any slower than Smoak. Both should have scored there.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 I guess we should give slow-poke Smoak credit for being able to score from 1st on a double. Martin BA now equal to that of Morales, who is quickly on his way to being the most disappointing addition to the team. http://worldseriesdreaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/blog12.jpg

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Filthy couple of pitches to Longoria there.
wk680 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Pearce and to a certain extent Salty would have something to say about that. Yes those two along with Howell have been garbage so far, but more was expected of Morales. And after looking good the first week or so, he seems much less sharp at the plate, swinging at more bad pitches, less solid contact, etc. Hopefully he gets it going again.

You're not paying Morales $32m to be this s***. Pearce = $12.5m, Salty $1.25m, Howell $3m. Morales is a very streaky hitter though and I believe he will get better.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Morales is a very streaky hitter though and I believe he will get better. Then why are you reaching for reasons to rip on him, relating him to plays he wasn't even involved in?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 Far too many walks by Liriano today, but he's been getting out of trouble like a boss. Keep it up, big guy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 JD can't get back soon enough... should've been two.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 f*** sakes Coghlan. he needs to go. Thanks for the dive
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Please DFA Coghlan already...he is terrible in every aspect of the game and should not be getting ABs over Travis who has been hitting the ball hard the last few games
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 f*** sakes Coghlan. That hurt. With his bat you would love to see a little better glove plugging the hole for JD.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Fans are doing the wave. Most excitement there's been at the game today.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Fans are doing the wave. Most excitement there's been at the game today. It's a good one. Gone around like 5 times and still going strong. Most successful thing I've seen in the dome this year.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 biagini is amazing, it's a shame the rest of the pen is so unreliable
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Biagini's a champ! what a rule 5 pick up. Consistent stuff.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 what a rule 5 pick up. Consistent stuff. Would be nice to score another useful piece from the rule 5, in Sparkman.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 Excellent baserunning by Bautista.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2017 Author Posted April 29, 2017 Yeah... that was SMOAK'd!!!!
