The Wikipedia article also calls his son a daughter so I'm guessing it's not all that reliable here.

 

Ashley was a gym teacher at Royal Palm Beach High while Jarrod was a student there, though she later confirmed that she never actually taught him. Ashley was in fact one of the first to supply details of their relationship in an 2006 interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, citing the need to get in front of the story before it became a scandal. Ashley, who was born in 1971, 14 years before Jarrod, said that the two began dating in the fall of 2004, a year after he graduated. They were married on July 12, 2005, less than a year after their relationship reportedly began.

 

I love the "I never taught him" part. He was drafted in June 2003 ($950K bonus). The dating to Marriage timeline doesn't sound legit to me but who knows. His first kid wasn't born until December 2006 so it wasn't shotgun.

I'd also like to add the difference between this gym teacher and every gym teacher I had. Only female teacher I had was a 50 year old lesbian who kept telling me that she could bench press three of me and I should put on some weight (I showed her that I could...30 years later)

Just wondering , all through high school and college male students had male gym teachers and females had female teachers , did anyone check if salty married a guy ?
