This has to be the best golf shot of 2020, right? Like, damn. This shot got him within 2 strokes of DJ at the time, iirc. Yeah, there's a lot of luck here, but it seems to me that Cam Smith is quietly becoming a star, if his recent form carries much weight.

 

He's already one of the best putters on tour and if he continues to make strides in his ball striking, I have to think it's only a matter of time before he moves into the Top 10-15 in the OWGR. I could easily see him winning more than once this season, which probably gets him there.

 

Dude's really good and yet he somehow just flies under the radar entirely.

 

Smith is now inside the Top 15 for the first time in his career, has significantly improved his ball-striking numbers and added a lot of distance off the tee, and yet he still isn't a household name. I think he will win again this season.

 

Is it partially because his name is so generic? Maybe! But he's got a mullet and perv stache, so you'd think that would at least cancel out the boring handle.

 

The man is one of the best golfers on the planet and I could see him winning the Masters in April.

Good call P2F, I believe I agreed with that assessment. I'm thinking this cut line is going low to 4 maybe 5 under, I know that's a stretch but you never know in this beautiful weather. Wailea's not showing her teeth this year... hahaha!

He said Furyk doesn't deserve the HOF. He's only won 29 tournaments and a major, not to mention still holding his own on the tour, not to mention his Champions Tour Major? He pisses me off with his old colleagues, like petty s***, man.

I feel bad for that golf insider Rosaforte. Pretty young. He was great for ESPN etc, but he'll always be known as Tigers follower, with magically written stories I've always loved, and all golfers loved him.

 

You guy's know him, best guy on air with golfers. Hands down, bald dude with glasses on his beak. Going to miss him he and Tiger impaled golf together. He covered football prior until Tiger, the conglomerate begged him to cover Tiger and he knew a lick, now he was insatiable, but the folk he touched is magical.
