I finished 2nd in the P5 and won $425, my DFS lineup finished 22nd and yielded $50, and I had two different bets on Hughes that paid out for his top 5 finish, which netted me $140.

I had many other close calls but fell short.

All in all, good weekend.

Yeah, I'd say so!

I'm prepping my wallet for golf contest season. Mack's rolling out the following contests in early January that I will be partaking in:

Survivor

Season-long Pick 5

One and Done

H2H Fantasy League (Fantrax)

Anybody else joining? If you're interested and need the invitation, let me know and I can email it to you.

I've been waiting for this day for like, two months. But in all actuality, it's a lot longer because I absolutely love this tournament.

And as such, I have invested heavily in this week, despite the lack of recent form data available due to the lengthy layoff. So I guess the move is to reset everyone to their baseline for the most part, but I couldn't just entirely ignore the most recent data we have.

With that in mind, I'm betting on the following players:

Justin Thomas: 9.50-1 - my pick to win. I don't usually bet on guys with odds this short, but I'd hate myself if he goes on to win and I didn't place a bet.

Daniel Berger: 21-1

Cameron Smith (EW): 23-1 - my other gut feel pick. I went heavily on Smith this week.

Sungjae Im: 26-1

Jason Kokrak (EW): 36-1

Marc Leishman (EW): 36-1

Cameron Davis (EW): 126-1 - worth a small flyer on this course. He can just grip it and rip it and hope to make enough putts to at least finish inside the top 5.

Stewart Cink (EW): 201-1 - f*** it. The cost is so minimal that if he regains form I could be laughing.

My DFS:

Thomas

Berger

Smith

Reed

Kokrak

Homa

Survivor Pick: Smith

One and Done: Xander

Optimism is alive for my bets, but lots of golf still to be played. Should make for an exciting weekend though.

Smith in first.

Looking good brosoff, I was so close to taking Smith in survivor, now I have to s*** my pants with Morikawa, lol. Smith is shooting the lights out, mate.

Things I need today that are realistic.

JT comes top 15 (have him in both survivors and one and done)

Cam Smith to win (have him in a group bet)

Berger to finish top 3 (have 2 pinatas with him)

What's a group bet? Good luck, mate!

Team names dink?

I don't understand your question. It's just an account on Sports interaction that P2F, Hurl and moi deposited into and Captian P2F had used that account to place a bet on Cam Smith. If we did have a name though it would be "The Three Gooch men"

Morikawa off to a good start!

f*** yeah, big win.

3 guys just beat the previous PGA scoring record. The conditions were absolutely sublime this week.

My Golf bets:

P5: THE GOOCH, Matsuyma, Im, Simpson and Cam Smith.

Pinatas (3) TBD

DFS: Matsuyma, Steele, S. Kim, T. Kanyana, L Glover.

The strategy this week is to load up on Asians and Gooch.
