What a great bullpen arm this guy ttuned out to be. Drafted by the club and lasted so long. But he would never have the opportunity to get 30+mil in his career again. Best of luck to him in St. Louis

Good reliever but he was actually supposed to be a very good no.2 starter. His career was disappointing after 2010 if you consider what expectations were at that point

Starting didn't work out but good for Brett to reinvent himself into a dominant reliever. His presence will be missed in the bullpen.

The saddest part is that these same idiots who wanted him gone will probably boo him when he returns.

Really sorry to see him go. He has been around so long and at times as dominant pen arm as we have ever had. I'll never forget the run he had the last 2/3rds of 2015.

 

Don't like the 4 year deal much for a pen arm, so not surprised. Wish we would have extended him in 2015 or 16. Good deal for him and his family.
