Gibby just suddenly realized that he should be managing with a bit more urgency. Always seems to happen after the fact though, which embarrasses himself even further.

Regarding Gibbons being fired, Shapiro said in his interview with Brunt that Gibbons will be back next year. Of course things can change in the week or two that interview was done but it sounded like he'll be back.

I don't feel as bad as losing this ALCS compared to last year. Cleveland is clearly more deserving.

 

Yeah I really have nothing against this team, KC just made me sick.

Sounds like he didn't want to cause an uproar during the playoffs by saying the manager will be fired in the offseason....lol of course he said that lol

It appears the turning point in this series was Bautista's 3 pitch strikeout with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the 1st inning of game 1. They had a chance to jump out to an early lead and as it stands now, they have yet to have a lead at any point this series. 1 run there could have changed everything.

 

Why are we even trying to blame this on one thing? The Tribe has just been flat out better in every facet.
