eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Alright I'll take the out.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I know relievers are good and all but this is now the second playoffs in a row when Gibbons keeps taking out starters early even when theybare doing just fine. Im not usually a Gibby basher but did the same thing all last playoffs too. He really tries to over-manage in the playoffs and it is pretty annoying. Taking out Happ wasn't the issue. He was kind of shaky anyway and was lucky to only give up one run. Gibbons thinking he was a genius by putting Liriano in is the problem. Now he's possibly given Texas new life in this game and series.
