King Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 Mets making Bumgarner work this inning.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Man, Bumgarner got lucky that inning.
King Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Author Posted October 6, 2016 Both wildcard games living up to the hype so far.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Both wildcard games living up to the hype so far. Incredible. Every pitch matters. The one and done is tough but it seems to bring out the best.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 what happened to d'arnaud? Bust. Never healthy and stopped hitting.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I wonder how many of these Mets fans are actually Yankees fans.
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I wonder how many of these Mets fans are actually Yankees fans. I would be both.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Nastiest stuff this side of Kershaw.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 My god Thor with endless swing and miss.....what a stud.
Plat Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 jesus, syndergaard is a goddamn monster
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 This is pure domination. It doesn't even look like they have a chance. 5 no hit innings and 8 strikeouts. But 70 pitches. I assume the Mets will just ride him. Normal rules don't apply to Syndergaard.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I would be both. I guess it would be similar to Clippers/Lakers. People in LA are Clippers fans until Lakers are good again. Which could be awhile.
el duque Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I wonder how many of these Mets fans are actually Yankees fans. most Mets fans are long island based , a population of around 7 million and most of them hate the Yankees
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I'm going to need to see a bat flip with Bumgarner on the mound.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Rivera!!! C'mon guys cash him in!!!
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Lol Mets ripped us of. Synder is a hall of famer
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 most Mets fans are long island based , a population of around 7 million and most of them hate the Yankees Well Stroman is from Long Island and grew up a die hard Yankees fan so that's interesting if true.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I'm going to need to see a bat flip with Bumgarner on the mound. He deserves 10 batflips and someone cartwheeling to 1B.
el duque Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Well Stroman is from Long Island and grew up a die hard Yankees fan so that's interesting if true. I lived there for 4 years and at that time I was a fan of el duque Yankees team but every body around me was a Met's fan
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Do people really hate MadBum because he thinks hes the best?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Guys, I'm not watching the game at the moment, just took a quick glance at Gameday. Is my lack of sleep acting up or did Madison Bumgarner just IBB James Loney with 2 outs?

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 James Loney absolutely sucks. Would have preferred Thor leading off next inning
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 yup, to get to thor He pitched to Thor instead and struck him out. Yes, favourable match up vs lefty Thor Yeah but... it's James Loney. You finish him up quickly and force the pitcher to lead off next inning.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 James Loney absolutely sucks. Would have preferred Thor leading off next inning You probably do that in the regular season or with a lead. In this scenario though, taking the better percentage with a runner in scoring position is probably wiser.
