Holy christ I survived. Did anyone else?

 

Barely... just barely. I've been a calm & cool, realistic guy for years and this week has just completely threw my emotions of the game out of whack. I'm not usually this irrational, bitter, crazy, but fans of other sports just don't understand how long a 162 game season is, especially when post season chances come down to the wire like this. I (we) devote every night for 6 months (let alone off season) to this so feelings become part of it.

There's nothing wrong with that. They need to keep him in shape before his Friday start.

Jays clinch at least a Game 163 on Tuesday with this win. Detroit now must win ALL of their remaining games to force a tiebreaker.. otherwise, it'll be Baltimore and Toronto in the AL Wild Card.

 

Okay...... So here is what I am struggling with as a strategy...

 

Should we have another starting pitcher go tomorrow such as Liriano regardless and save Sanchez for the "Tie Breaker or Wild Card" game?

 

At the end of the day, It is about having our best pitcher for winning the "Wild Card" game. So if we loose tomorrow we exhausted Sanchez and personally if I had to choose between giving up home field advantage or having Sanchez pitch in Baltimore I would take Sanchez pitching before anything else in a do or die game!

 

Yes, yes, I know 3 way tie but odds of that are slimmer than any other outcome!!!
