Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Pitching with herniated disk in back. Well... That explains that.
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I don't understand why Bolsy wasn't a September call up. Unless he is injured himself. Estrada is getting torched out there to a tune of 5.50 ERA in the 2nd half. Shut him down if the herniated disc is a problem

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 The players call the shots on this team. Yes. The players chose the 6 man rotation and the Bautista move to leadoff.

Shut him down if the herniated disc is a problem I loved taking Dickey out of the rotation, but to keep him out of the rotation while Estrada pitches with a herniated disk is absurd. He should have been shut down. Like I think we can all agree we hate Dickey but not to the point of letting Estrada die on the mound like he has been

Not sure if serious or not, cause it atually was Bautista that said move me to leadoff. I didn't hear anything about the pitchers wanting a 6-man rotation though...

It's more along the lines that they signed off it (gave it the OK) of course after they stated s***ing the bed we heard rumblings they didn't like it. Soooooo blame Sanchez

Soooooo blame Sanchez I've said all along, I think the 6 man rotation had as much to do with Estrada and Stroman as it did about Sanchez.
polar bear Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I honestly think, that the league has simply figured him out.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I honestly think, that the league has simply figured him out. 5 strikeouts in a row, perfect through 3. Gave up some long fly balls and a homer (this has always been his game) before being inexplicably pulled by Gibby in the 6th to put in a AAAA scrub who promptly gave up a HR. I really don't think his last outing was indicative of the league figuring him out. It wasn't great, but it was more than serviceable. He easily could have got through 6IP with 3ER. It was the pen that blew that game. Why did Gibby pull Marco for a AAAA lefty? It's called "playing the percentages"
ChrisS Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I honestly think, that the league has simply figured him out. If it were that it wouldn't take them a year imo. He was always due to regress slightly but he is a shadow of the pitcher he was 2 months ago, which isn't surprising with the back issues..
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I believe his back isn't a 100%. *coughs*Told ya*coughs*
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 He'll be great out of the pen in the playoffs.
