Well it sure f***ing seems to me that the overall art of the outfield arm is nowhere near what it was in the 80's and 90's. It's not just me that is saying this, it's all the commentators and former players. I guess they're all f***ed like me.

Likely... break out of that thought process, it'll do you better.

I will puke if Gibbons brings in Benoit here

Biagini is clearly superior to Benoit, but Benoit is older therefore brings the type of veteran intangibles that is better suited for late inning relief.

Vetrin presents. Big and strong.

You mean commentators like Tabby? He is f***ed. For sure.

There is always going to be idiots like Tabby in the mix. The overall pool of opinions consists of more in the know than idiots like Tabby.

Like who? They're smarter than actual digital stats? I've watched ball since 79 and have watched ballgames on the MLB Classic Network, they're nowhere near as talented as the players of today... both pitchers and ballplayers. They were great in there era, that's it.

Like who?

Are you kidding me? Do you know how stupid you sound asking for individual names? Do you actually believe everybody in this field is an idiot?

This is just insane.

WAT? Everyone in this field uses Statcast, lol. MLB clubs have way more elaborate information, pull your head out of your ass, and welcome to 2016'.

Like he knows. He's talking out of his ass again.

You guys are intelligent in a lot of ways, i'll give you that, but at the same time you're so narrow minded and numbers driven that it has become comical.

Mr. Unclutch comes through in the unclutch again.

Just need to get him to 25 homeruns. The qualifying dream lives.

Just happy to see Saunders hit a ball hard. Any run is a good run.

LOL.. I guess we should just stop watching games all together. It's not just arm strength, it's the accuracy.

Honestly I would have guessed the same thing...I remember Ellis Valentine having the biggest arm I've ever seen. Then looking at the stats he had 10 errors as a RF in one season. We just didn't see every game...just the highlights of many non-Jays games (although I watched the Expos games in French). In general everyone is throwing harder today than 30 years ago...and I'm guessing the accuracy hasn't taken a hit.

Lol.. You're 43 years old. So you are trying tell me that you can remember actual events and the overall talent of the game from when you were 6 years old?

Try again..
