burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Nice to see Sanchez throw a few curveballs. For some reason he didn't throw one until the 5th batter of the game.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 yeah rest has absolutely nothing to do with it Actually it does.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 f*** this im gonna start drinking now
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Actually it does. He would've had 5 days rest anyways with the offday on Thursday. So you're telling me every time there is an offday Sanchez will be bad? Looks like we're f***ed for the playoffs then...
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Actually it does. Care to elaborate? He wasn't missing any of his pitches. He hit his spots, the Astros just stayed back and drove the ball the other way. f*** Altuve just stuck his bat out there on a half swing. If he made the same pitches yesterday they would have been hit the same way
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 there is that attitude and some altitude to go with it! make it rain!!!

I would like to think that holds some weight.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Expecting a hot streak from JD which would be much needed for the offense

So you're telling me every time there is an offday Sanchez will be bad? Looks like we're f***ed for the playoffs then... I didn't say that. He just wasn't practically sharp in the first. Good piece of hitting by Correra and Bregman. Luck hit by Altuve. Balls were still in hitting zones.

You still need your legs under you, and you still need your arm in the right arm slot. If you get too tired, your ball doesn’t move anymore. I promise you. They should do that on the show Myth Busters, because it’s not true."
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 you still didnt address my point whatsoever. His pitches weren't mistakes I disagree those were good pitches to drive the other way. Altuve had a lucky hit.

LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 I disagree those were good pitches to drive the other way. Altuve had a lucky hit. better go back and check pitch trax again then. They were right on the corner

So would like to see our pitchers throw on regular rest because they have been statistically much better on 4 days rest. Either way 6-man rotation needs to end.
jiminy Verified Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Saunders has had a huge drop off since the all star break
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 better go back and check pitch trax again then. They were right on the corner Corner or not still up enough to drive the way for extra bases. Like I said good piece of hitting.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 everything is magnified if Jays don't score runs. If anything needs to happen, they need to get hot again with the bat. If they score 6 runs a game like before, pitching, 6 man rotations, whatever matters a lot less Trying to win 1 run games and pitch their way to victory is not their style
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Lol fan saved by the foul ball
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Will fans ever learn. Don't touch the f***ing ball unless you know it's foul!
