G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Martin doesn't look right That swing hurt
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Ryan Schimpf is doing big things. We should have given him a chance. Good for him though. He was the org guy I wanted to make it. Power and position versatility.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 tulo is slow Yeah I was surprised when the showed the play at 1B. Thought he could beat it out.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 It's either us or Baltimore. Orioles want to swap the contract of Ubaldo and give them a decent prospect. And Toronto wants San Diego to eat some of his contract next year. Depends what the Padres want more. Is the prospect enough to take Ubaldo's useless contract. Unless they feel they can fix him. Any speculation on what we have to give up?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Martin doesn't look right He hasn't struck out yet. That's an improvement.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Author Posted July 25, 2016 Ryan Schimpf is doing big things. We should have given him a chance. Good for him though. Does he have a good glove as well? Really haven't seen him play.
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 So is this where we hear Pillars new walkup song?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Ryan Schimpf is doing big things. We should have given him a chance. Good for him though. How did the Padres even get him ;s
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 How did the Padres even get him ;s He was a minor league free agent.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Hey Justin, you're swing isn't quite long enough.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Why did we only extend Smoak for 2 years, should have given him 8 years 200 Mil we will never see a return on that investment for sure, aside from useless solo shots in games out of reach
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 So Tellez or Montero would be an upgrade over Smoak at this point
Cyris Verified Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 With the intended starting line up playing for the first time this year two things stand out for me. Smoak is easily the weakest link on the team and needs to be replaced. And second why is the hell is Pillar hitting in front of Travis or really anywhere but 9th?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I still don't understand Smoak's contract. Be very annoyed if he spends all of it here. Just a waste of money. Hes so replaceable in the off-season. Year to year guy.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 So Tellez or Montero would be an upgrade over Smoak at this point No. Montero sucks. He only hits s***** AAA pitching. Tellez is hurt.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 So Tellez or Montero would be an upgrade over Smoak at this point Offensively, yes.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Great pitch Called properly this time
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 That two seamer to Myers was unhittable.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 We need to protect Sanchez's arm,
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Sanchez is f***ing good. Nice trade Angrioter
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Its hard for me to believe that Smoak is the best we can do at First base.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Sanchez is f***ing good. Nice trade Angrioter Why don't you do his competitive walk tracker anymore?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Offensively, yes. That's what I meant. Edwin has played well at 1st this year do I really don't see Smoak playing but maybe 1 or 2 times a week going forward, especially with Bautista DHing some
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Gotta make him pay for these BB's
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 We need to protect Sanchez's arm, We also need to win games
