It didn't look like a goof; he took the shortest route to the ball and couldn't get to it. I think if it was Saunders or Bautista they would have just chased it down in the corner and everyone would just accept that it was a double.

I can't fault Carrera for using his speed to try to get to balls that slower outfielders don't even try for.

or he could try cutting it off before it gets to the corner and not dive like an idiot.

He missed by quite a bit. His speed didn't help there. It's not the first time he's clanked a play like that either. It ended up costing a run too.

This team has gone to complete s***. Couldn't score a single run yesterday off a guy who couldn't throw a strike with his curve or any other pitch but his fastball. Now today they can't score off of a scrub like this lefty who is throwing complete garbage up there. f***ing embarrassment to baseball this team is. Sick of seeing Carrera trying to copy Pillar and not even coming close while runs score easily and singles go for triples. Downright amateur right now.

How? The ball was hit pallalel to the left foul line so if Carrera tried to cut it off by playing back then he would be taking a longer route.

I don't see how he clanked it; it was either make an attempt or accept it as a double to the corner.

He clanked it because instead of accepting a double in the corner he turned it into an RBI triple. It's not the effort that bugs me. It's the questionable judgment.

Travis has a way too humble personality to be hitting ahead of the likes of JD and EE, he's not ready mentally. Travis for now needs to be hitting anywhere from 5-7. He always seemed more focused when hitting there.

They have to consider skipping Estrada. It just looks painful. All Star Break can't come fast enough. He needs rest.

Way to be a f***ing pile on yet again Josh. Might as well just put a cardboard cutout up at the plate. Only hitter doing a single thing to help this team is Edwin. I'm done with watching this amateur garbage.

You put hitters lower because they're worse hitters, not because they don't have the "mindset" or some s***. Have you ever actually played in a game before? There's no mental perception of placement in a lineup when you're standing in the batters box. The only thing you're thinking of who's on base, how many outs, what's the count. That's it.

Blue Jays seem to be taking called strike 3 on marginal strikes. The one on Edwin yesterday was a bad call but the Blue Jays have been taking too many called strike 3's on pitches too close to take, like Donaldson with two men on and 2 out.

Might have to send this memo out to some of the Jays not sure they all buy into the Smack you just laid down!!!

It's mind boggling....have they no 2 strike approach? protect the plate. Even with the dumb ump yesterday it's been an issue all year.

Annoying that Davis is the difference in this game he looks great though. Hes still running extremely well and the ball is flying off his bat.

I couldn't understand why he wasn't more of a fan favorite in Toronto. I thought he was a good player.

Yikes Estrada hurt, things keep getting worse. Might be at .500 by the time the break hits.

Great news for Shatkins

A chance to kill this team and fan interest

Soon 10000 fans and $50 million payroll

Rather not watch fat people eat hotdogs.

I was thinking the same thing lol. I haven't ate at the Rogers Centre in years. I wonder if the food is actually good. Not that I would eat a hotdog.
