It's not gonna make any difference--Boston and Kansas City are losing tonight. So nothing's going to change.. except Baltimore continues to dominate the AL East instead of Boston..

Didn't you guys see Arizona's road record? They're a decent team outside of Chase Field.. the problem is that the ball carries a lot in Arizona, just like Colorado, screwing up their pitching staff.

 

Home ERA: 5.28

Road ERA: 3.46

 

Plus, Corbin was firing a ton of ground balls.. he was good. Not completely the Jays fault.. thought the lineup really needed Smoak in it.

Tulo the chemistry destroyer..

 

Tulo didn't really hurt the team.. Corbin is just a good pitcher outside of Chase Field (3-1, 2.66 ERA, 1.114 WHIP).

 

And if you think we're whining, imagine what's going on in Red Sox Nation--they just blew another game vs. the White Sox, meaning the Jays don't lose any ground to Boston, and Kansas City is about to lose.. so no changes in the standing. And seriously, F*** Baltimore.. really hope San Diego comes back in that game.

Kansas City just lost. No change in the standings. So this game is basically a mulligan.. come back tomorrow and clobber Ray (whose numbers are not even close to Corbin..)

Or maybe due to the fact they've played Baltimore twice since he came back? Plus, Corbin, as I just mentioned, has much better numbers outside of Chase Field.

We should just have Goins in the lineup every day because the team has a much better record with him in the lineup.
