One of the lone bright spots in the bullpen outside of Roberto Osuna. Biagini has turned into a surprisingly impressive Rule 5 Draft selection and is easily a player to root for.

Check out my post about him below:

Just going to give you a light critique that hopefully you'll find constructive (or at least not too snotty). I'm hardly an expert in English and I make no claims to being a good writer but I did notice a few things that seemed a little off.

Firstly, You use the passive voice a lot. Is that a bad thing? I'm not so sure but I do know that a lot of people frown upon it. I think if nothing else you should be aware of it especially if it's not a conscious decision. I just get the general sense that there's a lack of consistency with verb tense choices. I think it's something you might want to look at. Sorry for how vague this critique is.

Secondly, you use a lot of one sentence paragraphs. This is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I understand, for instance, why you might want to separate out the different points relative to the Rule 5 draft but maybe bullets points could have been used as an alternative to a series of one sentence paragraphs in that case.

O.K. Hope you don't mind the feedback and good luck with the blog!

Just a quick error I noticed:

"In 21 innings with the Blue Jays, Biagini already has a record of 3-1 with a 0.86 ERA and a 1.095 ERA. He has 7.3 Ks per 9 and 2.6 BB per 9."

I believe the bolded should read WHIP. Thanks for posting!

The article is fine for Sportsnet distribution but the Statcast analysis is questionable.

How would you approach the analysis of the exit velocity stats?
