Better

I think hes going to better than McDavid as well. Certainly a better goal scorer. If he was Canadian like McDavid everyone would be going f***ing crazy

Hahahahahaha stick to baseball if you think Matthews is going to be better than McDavid.

You must really hate the Leafs.

Good game, pitching has been excellent this season so far.

Some clutch hitting by the team when it counted.

I woe the day the pitching regresses if this offense is not firing on all cylinders though...

Talk to anyone who knows anything about hockey and tell them that Matthews is going to be better than McDavid and they will have a good chuckle

Can we give a shout out to Biagini and Chavez stepping up and bridging the gap to the 9th? Great game!

Chavez has quietly been one of the better relief pitchers the Jays have had, there's obviously no way he sustains a HR/FB nearly triple the league average.

He was referring to Jack Eichel. No one thinks Matthews will be better than McDavid.

He's an Oiler fan, he isn't wrong.

McDavid is on a whole different level compared to anyone since Crosby. Matthews is fantastic, I actually have him rated a little higher than Eichel.

Imo.

McDavid will be a 110-125 point guy.

Matthews will be a 80-90 point guy (with a slightly better 2-way game)

4.16 xFIP is pretty mediocre for a reliever.

4.17xFIP I don't see how he's been that good.

Sample's tiny guys, we're talking about volatile RP numbers... it can change quickly.

Ok so how many years of control do Jays have?

If he stays for the whole year at the majors. 5 more years of control

Posted
lol... he's a rule 5?

How much control do Jays have on Biagini?

Good question

He'll be considered 1st year this season, period. 6 years counting 2016.

E: Once again: This is why the Jays were elated to land him in the rule 5 draft.
