Unfortunately, they were suppose to be significant pieces and Gibby refuses to deviate from using them in high leverage situation Well...Cecil may be hurt so he's saving Gibbons from himself. Floyd and Chavez could be used in these situations, and then they could use Storen in lesser spots until he gets his performance back up to par. Using him stubbornly in the 8th inning because "veteranz" is the type of dumb s*** old school managers always do.

True. Only Gibbons can control the outcome of Storen. Hopefully he'll stop using him in high leverage spots after he blows another 3-4 games.
