gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Major League hitters shouldn't be constantly fooled by that slow curve, especially the second time through.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The K's rates are really getting old. Making it look like we are facing Thor out there.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 lol chasing that curve. Just take it. Tulo did that his last AB, and was called out.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 lol at that third pitch being a strike.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Remember how big of a prospect Smoak was
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Y'know, I'd swear we've faced Clayton Kershaw and Max Scherzer 10 times each already. Sure feels like it anyways.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The K's rates are really getting old. Making it look like we are facing Thor out there. Exactly. It's an issue with the approach of this offense. Something needs to change and there's been no real visual differences to try that since the season began.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Edwin watches a meatball then grounds out weakly on a hanger down the pipe. He's hungry, give the guy a break. He ate a meatball sub from Subway between innings so he's good to go now.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Will this be the walk-walk-passed ball inning?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Its the whole team maybe its time to look at the batting coach
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Exactly. It's an issue with the approach of this offense. Something needs to change and there's been no real visual differences to try that since the season began. 2 strike approach has been poor, need to cut down the swings.
JaysFanSmith Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Everyone chill, This game can't be blamed on the hitters. Griffin is mixing pitches and pitching great.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 How is this scrub raping us. Cause our offense in bottom tier so far this year...I can't remember the last season we struggled to get 3 hits a game
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Jacoby.. "I don't understand it, it's the same offense as last year."
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Lol @ Buck knocking the shift in a game when Smoak and Moreland were put out in RF by the 2B.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Everyone chill, This game can't be blamed on the hitters. Griffin is mixing pitches and pitching great. You can basically say that about every pitcher we've faced so far.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Everyone chill, This game can't be blamed on the hitters. Griffin is mixing pitches and pitching great. A lot of fastballs down the middle....although he has pitched pretty well but the offense is struggling
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Its the whole team maybe its time to look at the batting coach I said that earlier.
JaysFanSmith Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 You can basically say that about every pitcher we've faced so far. You can, but I honestly haven't seen any meatballs today. If any very few.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Dickey with the possible two out, nobody on runs coming up. So frustrating.
Governator Community Moderator Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Dickey Implosion? The inevitable.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 You can, but I honestly haven't seen any meatballs today. If any very few. You watching the same game? There have been quite a few, either missed or taken.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Walking the 8 and 9 hitters. Excellent strategy...
