Nafro Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I'm going to Pitch Talks tonight. If anyone has any intelligent questions for Wilner, Blair, Zwelling, Davidi, Brunt or Nicholson-Smith. Post them here or PM me.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Ask them why Shatkins thinks Edwin will only get 2 years on the open market. When a similar player in V-mart, who is 2 years older, more injury prone got 4/68.
Guy Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I don't care for most of their opinions.

Regardless, the answer would be - Adrian Beltre just signed for 2 years $36M and he's way better than EE. Papi only signs 1 year deals and he's as good as EE.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Ask if there is any update they've heard about the ST facility. Brunt and Davidi would probably be the only 2 worth asking that question to.

That's the worst case Ontario. Negotiating extensions with players is all about trying to get a team friendly deal. There's not really much sense in offering free agent term / money before they even reach free agency, unless you're dealing with a generational talent and you can't even justify the risk of letting them experience free agency.

LOL! This made me laugh for some reason.
Nafro Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 LOL! This made me laugh for some reason. I just saw an old beater on my way to the office that drives around Stratford with "Worst Case Ontario" painted in its back window.

Nafro Verified Member Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 Why the hell is it in Tavistock of all places? Probably because its one of the greatest small baseball towns in Canada. You'll be able to watch the Australian Junior Fastball team play there later this summer as well. Its like 15 minutes from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. And a whole bunch of other reason's you don't care about.
