THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 They matter a whole hell of a lot more than IP. Stroman is far, far too good to be pitching this way. Let's just hope someone smartens him and Martin's game-plan up.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Zaun...that hair and suit combo...no good dude
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Stroman's xFIP is 4.09 and he's averaging over 7 innings per start. He's doing fine and he'll be even better going forward.

TBJ12 Verified Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Can we just let Osuna throw the 8th and 9th to close this out please.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 The chances of reach the bases after strikeouts are very few. I'm a little shocked at people not getting this point. Why let luck have a say if you can snuff out a potential play? Ideally, you want the ball in motion as little as possible.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Can we just let Osuna throw the 8th and 9th to close this out please. Why? Cecil is really good.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 No Osuna tonight? That will make it tough. I wouldn't send out Storen, rather go with Cecil/Floyd
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 lol it has more to do with Stroman and Martin than Pete Walker. As soon as Martin came is when Stro ditched the 4 seam. 2014 he was 4 seam sprinkled in with the 2 seam.

Ideally, you want the ball in motion as little as possible. Exactly. BABIP is removed from the equation all together. The funny thing is, is Stro was getting rocked for a lot of tonight and gave up 2 HR while using his awful low K's/High GBs approach.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Bautista has lost his arm strength. Haven't seen him make 1 good throw this year.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Where the hell is our 8 millions reliever?
Jonzo Verified Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Bautista has lost his arm strength. Haven't seen him make 1 good throw this year. There wasn't any point to put more into that throw
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2016 Posted April 20, 2016 Where the f*** was that? That was a CLEAR strike...
