Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 MVP tonight 1-Jim Joyce, 2-Josh, 3-StroShow
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I wish I could suck at my job for the first few months of the year too and get a guaranteed pay. I know a lot of people who suck at their job and have been there for 20+ years. It happens.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 I literally couldn't care less about the nhl playoffs I was just thinking the same thing. It all looks so incredibly boring, especially with no Canadian team involved. Hockey us nowhere near what it used to be.

Jonzo Verified Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Josh actually gives insightful, interesting interviews.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 If Smoakabello is still looking like s*** at the end of this month I'd consider giving Justin Morneau's undead corpse a call. He had surgery, not available til July-ish.

Hockey us nowhere near what it used to be. Too many damn teams make the playoffs literally over half the league and they all play 7 games series..

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Blue Jays Win!!!!!!!!!!!!! Osuna Matata!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Great win, time for bello to sit on the bench and play smoak against righties.

To be fair though, if the Leafs get the first pick (Mathews), they're going to be a pretty entertaining team.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 We could have a football score tomorrow night.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 God I wish anything but NHL playoffs were on. Give me some football. Might just watch the Orioles/Rangers
Jonzo Verified Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Zaun dissing Gibby for warming BP up in the 6th And rightfully so... Edit: also I think it was the 5th.

I've seen them suck enough. I was 4 and there were only 6 teams last time the Leafs won. lol edit: http://i67.tinypic.com/13z4hzc.jpg

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 An okay game today. Still seems as if a few key guys are lost at the plate, though Tulo's HR is encouraging. Stroman was pretty good for all eight innings. Even that mess in the 4th was only partially his fault, and he did a good job getting weak contact that just wasn't capitalized on. Speaking of weak contact, the Yanks were weak all night. Hardly anything was hit with authority, and even the above mentioned 4th inning was more a mess of the Blue Jays' making than anything the Yankee hitters did. Not sure it was Stroman's best start, but the Yankees couldn't do anything all night. Completely held in check.

We seem to be making a big deal of this as a board, but I want to note that in the AL we have the 5th most runs scored and we are only 5 runs behind the Tigers for the overall lead. Yeah, we expect more from a few players but our offense is still strong even key players hitting below the mendoza line. In fact coming into tonight's game there were 7 players hitting below 200.

If teams just walked Donaldson and Bautista we would be really bad on offense right now. Hopefully everyone starts clicking soon
