o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 that sure sucked all the life out of the RC
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I don't think I can stomach a full season of idiot gibbons again, just awful bullpen management so far.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Is there a WAR type statistic for managers? If there was, Gibby would be below replacement.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Then Farrell goes to Young. Young vs. Morales is way worse. Then you take out Morales. It's not the first time a reliever didn't even throw a pitch in an appearance
bronson44 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 martin framed his ass off that ab
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Nah, it made sense so Gibby has to do something else lol. Leaving Stroman in was probably the better call. Nah. Platoon management bro. StroShow suxx tonight. Morales vs the cold Young was the better option.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Wasn't really gibbons fault I guess.... Stroman and Chavez sucked tonight.
Patrick Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Then Farrell goes to Young. Young vs. Morales is way worse. whats worse than a grand slam.
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 We are still winning at least
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Then you take out Morales. It's not the first time a reliever didn't even throw a pitch in an appearance huh
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Is there a WAR type statistic for managers? I think the only thing you could do is calculate the pythagorean record and then attribute the difference to the manager.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Stromans' ERA spiking through the roof through 2 games because if our RP.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Then you take out Morales. It's not the first time a reliever didn't even throw a pitch in an appearance He has to face atleast one batter...
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 We are still winning at least Do you feel safe with a 1 run lead? This team seems to struggle in close 1 run games.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Geez Louise, Holt is tearing the cover off the ball-- 8 RBIs in 3 games! Eat your heart out Starlin Castro.. where did Holt find this power?
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 "Giving up runs is never the answer, but sometimes it is" - Red Sox reliever, Matt Barnes
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Nah. Platoon management bro. StroShow suxx tonight. Morales vs the cold Young was the better option. Stroman only gave up 2 runs...Probably 4 max if he stayed in. He wasn't great but easily good enough to win. Gibby has been directly responsive for what 10 runs this year? Has any manager been worse to start this season?
Patrick Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Hindsight for every decision. No one on this board would pick Young vs. Morales over Chavez vs. Holt. Holt just got lucky. ya, I waS just kidding... but a grand slam is kind of bad
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Stroman's final line actually represents how he pitched, which is very, non-Stro like. Let's get some runs boys.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Problem is we often get shut down after having a monster inning.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Super frustrating but not really sure what else could have been done. Sometimes you just get baseball'd.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Jays offense scores then shuts down rest of the game so far this season, hope this trend ends tonight.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 went away for a bit only a one run lead now? s***..
Floortom Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Jesus Tulo is still a turd with the bat. Maybe he won't turn it around
intrigid Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Is it just me or does it seem like Dan's voice needs TSN music carrying him out of the inning?
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
