For sure are you kidding me! It's not like our bench is shining, he's one year removed from a 2 WAR year, he's still 28, and worst case scenario he's a pinch runner for the postseason. I think he bounces back next year

whyyyy. They're cool for Canada Day but they don't look that good especially since we are the "Blue Jays". Rather they have some form of the powder blue jersyes as an alternate.

It's the same ones as this year I think they're just using it more often. Probably because they've sold lots of them, I've seen so many of them, s*** I have one of my own lol

Wow - I think the red uni's look stupid with the blue undershirts and elbow guards (I think I commented on that previously). I truly HATE this idea. Once or twice a year is fine if you ask me. We already have 3 different uniforms - now we're going to mix in a 4th one? It's a bit much.

I'd almost prefer a white Jersey with the red logo and a red/white cap if thats what they want to do. Disliked this years version of the red jersey.

Yeah I agree. The white home jersey's with the red logo, lettering and cap are much better then the all red jersey.

I realise most prospects flop their first time in the bigs and end up going back to the minors for a little more seasoning, but is anyone else excited at the prospects of Tellez finishing 2017 as our starting 1st baseman? It's nice to think that by midseason we could see some youth that could give the team a boost.

 

Not a guarantee by any means (see Astros, Houston) - but it's really been something this team has lacked the past 2 seasons.

I think Ryan Goins would be a better choice, he has proven he can hit when he plays everyday, he is cheep $500k and having watched him play 1b one game he would really add to the infield.

Ryan Goins will never by a full time player he is a back up defensive first player and i don't think anyone can ever see that changing.
