Jonzo Verified Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Usually MLB blacks out internet radio broadcasted games. If I listen to 590 online, they usually are playing reruns of another program, not the game. Not sure if it's true for ST.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 1-2-3 for Sanchez in the first 1K, 1 GO, 1 FO
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 1-2-3 for Sanchez in the first 1K, 1 GO, 1 FO but it wasn't a swinging K so it doesn't count obv
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I'm officially over Spring Training. Real baseball plz.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Wilner: "And the Jays go 3 up 3 down in a very different fashion than the Mets did." Jays literally just went 1K, 1 GO, 1 FO and I'm certain he wasn't joking.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 No officioal line available on mlb.com but Sanchez results good. 1 triple is the only hit. Mostly groundball outs and strikeouts through 3 IP.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Sanchie facing like, 2.5 big league hitters. Wish he was facing a real lineup. Can't glean much information from a box score against this Mets team.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 Bummer is Colon is keeping our guys off base too He's still so effective it's really quite remarkable

Can't glean much information from a box score against this Mets team. The most important thing is whether or not he's throwing strikes and cutting his BB rate.

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 The most important thing is whether or not he's throwing strikes and cutting his BB rate. Well it seems like he is. Another called K on Conforto. Hard to not give him the 5th spot at this point... and as a Sanchie hater I hate admitting that.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Wilner just said Stro is pitching today in a minor league game, and has 5K's through 3IP. Sanchez just got a swinging strikeout on the curve as well! :-o He now has 4k's through 4IP.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 4 ip 4 k 0 bb 2 h 6-1 go-fo Was that Sanchez' 1st swinging strikeout on the curve?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Sanchez' 1.53 ERA is a bad news. Put the damn kid in the bullpen already
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Well it seems like he is. Another called K on Conforto. Hard to not give him the 5th spot at this point... and as a Sanchie hater I hate admitting that. I think it's easier when you realize he's not going to pitch an entire season and you're paying another dude $1MM who can probably go half a season at a similar result.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think there's a good chance that Sanchez and Floyd make the rotation to start the year with Estrada hitting the DL.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Well it seems like he is. Another called K on Conforto. Hard to not give him the 5th spot at this point... and as a Sanchie hater I hate admitting that. I'm good with it. It's probably his last real chance to take a rotation spot and run with it. If he can actually throw strikes, he can be a valuable starter. If not, pull the plug.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I can't understand making a decision on Aaron Sanchez' future based on Gavin Floyd. If Sanchez earns the spot, you have to give it to him. Floyd is not a long-term asset.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I think there's a good chance that Sanchez and Floyd make the rotation to start the year with Estrada hitting the DL. If Estrada feels good they won't have him start on the DL they may push him back due to the couple early days off.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Well, there's your first Tulo DL stint of the year. 6-8 weeks broken hand.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 f***, please be ok Tulo , please no wrist injury.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Wilner said the wrist was visibly purple and swollen immediately
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
