I have a question about flex pack tickets and need someone experienced with them to help.

I am a new flex holder and I was wondering when/if I would be able to get my tickets in PDF form or hard copy? I already got my single game tickets in PDF form but I want to divy up my big flex pack among friends.

Is this possible? When can it be done? Thanks.

I'm not a 2016 holder but I was for 2015.

You get a hard copy in the form of a Card that you tap into at the games. The card is more like a proof of identification and it accesses and retrieves you digital ticket in the Jays database and prints out a receipt.

However, if you want to split tickets among your friends, you will have to log in to your Blue Jays account and electronically email the tickets to your friends. Once they receive it, the ownership of the ticket is transferred from you to them so your card will no longer have access to it.

Ah I see. I assume that they can then print the tickets from there and use them without me being there?

Also, any idea if this process be available soon?

Thanks a lot for the info

Yes they will have to print it out, only thing you have to do is send them the ticket transfer in the first place.

No clue. But you probably already have a blue jays account when you registered for your flex pack. Look around and find a "Manage My Games" button or something along those lines. Otherwise you will have to wait for your flex card. Might want to send a tweet to https://twitter.com/sbrooksbaseball

Yes after you transfer the tickets to them, they can accept the transfer and then print them out themselves. Once the tickets become available sometime before mid-March you will be able to transfer the tickets. On your mybluejays login there is a FAQ section with lots of tutorials on this and other things.

Anyone have experience in section 142? Those seem cheap and I don't drink so that's not going to be a bother to me

It's ok, the view is pretty unique, but I personally prefer the 500 section behind the plate, which usually comes cheaper.

Thanks for your input! I was looking at the 500 seats actually, the thing is these seats were pretty cheap on stubhub, $89 a pop (USD) which isn't too bad, but I'll look more into 500 level as well. I usually sit 100/200 in RF or down the 3rd base line but those are expensive lol

Edit: How do LF seats fair? Section 104 kinda looks intriguing

Had those seats for the playoffs, they were fine. You'll be right behind the pitcher, so you really get to see the break on some pitches. Its kinda like a TV angle but zoomed out

104 is RF isn't it? LF seats are great, I get my flex pack in the LF outfield seats every year

Oops I mean RF seats! I usually sit LF but those tickets are through the roof, I'm just debating whether or not to spend $35 extra on 3 tickers ($105 total) to sit in RF vs. CF... my only issue with CF seats is that you won't be able to see the jumbotron and all the things they'll be showing in the pregame ceremony

DEFINITELY agree. 90% of baseball happens in the infield. The closer you get to the plate the better. I'd take 500 level near plate over 100 level outfield any day or night. My seats are in the first row of 524 and it's the best value in baseball. If you look around baseball the most expensive seats are behind the plate. It's exceptional relative to most other markets that the Jays price the whole 500 level the same and as long as they do I couldn't imagine giving up my seats. I know some people prefer being in the outfield, and that's fine, but what I'll say is this... there's a reason the broadcast team calls the game from a box behind the plate and not in the outfield!

Here's a comparison:

how long have you been a STH for? They're good seats but the thing is you never pay face value since everyone wants to be there and so few people sell.

I got rid of most of the tickets I didn't want/ can't use already, and sold the vast majority of them (i.e. basically everything but Canada Day and the home opener) for under box office prices. Even if I doubled my money I'd make something like $2000-- just not worth the effort of trying to sell 60 pairs of tickets. I love the seats and have the seasons so that I can make sure I get to sit there. I think we chatted privately about you grabbing some a few months back-- I didn't hear back from you though.

What is the best way to sell unused tickets. I have about 15 games that I would like to sell. Btw those are great seats for the price.

Ideally you find some of your friends or co-workers that want to take your seats. You give them to them at cost or close to it and everyone is happy-- you friend gets a break on the seats (and better seats) vs. box office.

If nobody wants the tickets I think the best route is the online companies like Stubhub. I recently discovered a fantastic company that is a better alternative to stubhub, called TickPick. I included a link at the end of this post.

The nice thing about tickpick is that they charge you the standard 10% that stubhub does BUT they don't charge fees to the buyer if the tickets are bought through them,so your tickets end up being cheaper there and you're more likely to recover your money. ALSO, they post your tickets on their site AND on stubhub, so you get increased exposure (therefore also increasing likelihood of finding someone to take your tickets).

I was able to snag section 122 (behind home plate), row 16 tickets x2 for $142 USD total for a game later this August. Awfully tough now to find better deals. 5 years ago I was able to get similar seats for something like $80 total.

Also, if anyone is trying to get tickets for the Donaldson bobblehead game, prices are cheaper on stubhub than what it available on the Jays site.

I somehow snagged tickets in 137R (right above Jays bullpen) in the first row for Thursdays game. I couldn't believe they were available as there were nothing in the first 6 rows in and of the OF sections. Ive never sat in left field (My flex pack is in 218), so nice to see some positive reviews of those seats

you better take advantage of that spot. Come up with a funny (and positive) cheer for the bullpen. Or come up with a cheeky poster, like what I brought to row 1 3rd base side last year

I snagged a ticket at 130A in the 4th row for today's game at Stubhub, around 15 bucks cheaper than normal ticket

The prices will drop even more closer to game time. Decent 500 level seats were starting at $6 USD for todays game.

For a weekend game?

Tough buying tickets for a game that is months away right now for me. I mean, as much as I think the Blue Jays will be in contention, if they fall out of the race, those seats in August and September take a huge drop. Unless if it's a giveaway day or a weekend series against a good team.

The CAD has been up the past couple of days, so buying on StubHub is a lot better right now, so could be a time to take advantage if you can get good ticket deals that work out to be cheaper or similar prices to the box office.

Tickets always get released the day of the game. Probably COMP seats they released. As well, seats always are available on StubHub so it's not like it's such a hard ticket to get, especially for weeknight games.
