bast1981 Verified Member Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi, April 1st will be my first ever baseball game live. Right now i got a ticket in the outfield at the olympic stadium. It's in the lower level 100A section 138 row h. I've read that is it best to sit in the infield right behind home base. However the only ticket available right now are those at the top. I mean with your head against the roof. Should i keep my ticket in the outfield ? I could sell it and get a upper level ticket right behind home base. However the seat is really high. The seat is near the roof. Thanks in advance for your advice.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 find a sports bar with a big screen tv. lol any seat at the park is better than a day at work. It's two different perspectives that have separate angles. you can probably enjoy the game just as well from either seat so it's down to personal preference. the most important thing is to get there in time for BP and enjoy every aspect of being at the game except the wave... NO WAVE!! Have a great time but no wave lol did I mention not to do the wave?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I'm a fan of infield seats, field level. You get a nice panorama of the whole field and the players making plays. Most action takes place in the infield anyway. Just keep your eyes on the ball. For real, put your phone away.

I have know clue about the big O, though.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Nose bleeds at Olympic Stadium are ridiculously steep. Vertigo inducing if you're prone to it like I am.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 If you are going to watch the Jays then best to stick to field infield level on the 3rd base side. Not only do you get a good view of home runs but you are also more likely to snag a foul ball considering our right-handed heavy lineup.
bast1981 Verified Member Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Thanks everyone. So i guess i'm better to sit in the lower seat in the outfield rather than nosebleeds in the infield ? I'm going friday. I say this by looking at pic of the stadium on google. It will be my firt time going to the stadium as well. There's no tickets left for the saturday game. The tickets available saturday is nosebleeds in the outfield. Here is a picture of nosebleeds at the olympic stadium https://postmediamontrealgazette2.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/montreal-sep-29-2004-expos-played-to-a-much-fuller-house-th.jpg?quality=55&strip=all The ticket i have right now would be lower seat in the outfield on the left side of the score board. nosebleed don't look bad either.
