baseballsss Verified Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 the one on the left looks like an old glove - is that him on the right too? if so then it is for sure a new glove. The one on the right has different shoes as well. Kinda looks like Goins.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 He was fit last year. I don't have the link but there was a pic a few years ago with Stroman, Sanchez and a hot chick at the beach and he had good abs. If it's the picture I'm thinking of, we have very different definitions of hot. Maybe if she gained 15-20 Lbs. lol

Do you have eyes man? Not wearing the same clothes at all, not even the same skin tone. The guy on the right is Goins.

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Chubby chaser eh Yeah. Wanting an extra 20 pounds on a 100 pound girl certainly makes me a chubby chaser.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Abs are a direct product of low body fat % I'm not sure abs are a good thing for a pitcher. It always seems like the leanest pitchers are more prone to injury, maybe a bit of fat is a good thing for durability.

Whatever body keeps them from getting injured is fine by me
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I wish there were reports that Bello spent all offseason working his tail off with some defensive wizard to improve his defense at 1st - and in LF. It's hard to fathom how much more valuable Bello would be to the Jays if he was passable in LF. I'm really interested to follow Bello and Pillar this year. Both are massive question marks and keys to the Jays overall success if you ask me. You can't really improve your speed and range at Cola's age. At this point he is what he is.

When AA left it was like every post was about how Shapiro was the devil, and if you said anything otherwise it was downvotes galore.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I haven't seen or heard anything about Donaldson being there yet. Is he still golfing?

I'm not sure so much about fat necessarily as opposed to bulk that doesn't affect their pitching motion. I agree that it seems the skinny guys either tend to get injured more, or lose velocity faster.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Josh Johnson was a chubster. Pedro Martinez was tiny as f*** and had one of the best careers ever. There probably isn't a pattern.

Laika Community Moderator Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Sanchez looks thick. Probably gained a full shirt size. FWIW
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Sanchez looking kinda fat TBH
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Sanchez looking kinda fat TBH Well yeah. You don't gain 20 pounds in a few months without it being 90% lard. The good type of lard though because kettle bells
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Good fat. Competitive walks. Sanchez is a glass half full kinda guy.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 The Jordan Brand signed Stroman which is pretty interesting. He's going to make more money this year in endorsements than his actual salary lol.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 and here we goooo Arden Zwelling @ArdenZwelling 58s59 seconds ago Marco Estrada has been dealing with some minor back tightness. He'll be eased into his spring work. Blue Jays aren't concerned.
