OK, I've created the league.

Looks like we are going to have 20 or more teams (max is 24 so there are still a few spots left).

I've set the tentative draft date for March 1st, with 8 hour picking windows, (stopped between 11:30 PM and 7:30 AM.

So, it should be pretty easy to make your picks on time.

 

Pitching Categories: Wins, Strikeouts, Holds, Saves, ERA, WHIP and K/BB

Hitting Categories: HR, Runs, RBI, Net SB, AVG, OBP, SLG

It's a head-to-head format, where you can get one point for each category you win against your opponent. So, if you sweep everything, the best you can do is 14-0 in any given week.

Also, we've set it so that lineup changes are only done once a week. That way, you don't have to change lineups every day, and don't have to worry about people streaming pitchers.

Speed is already a premium when it's just SB; this makes it even harder to come by. Net SB limits the value of what many players contribute to the speed categories, in my opinion.

This is H2H, so SB still makes up 1/14th of the total value.

 

It means that guys who have a high success rate of stealing will be worth even more, and players who steal 4 bases and get caught 3 times during the season, aren't going to help you out much in that category.

Might be hard to get 20 guys who aren't in any of those leagues. Be careful you aren't signing up the same guy 3 times only to let him stack a team with fishy trades.

 

I put my name in for the other league. Since I was around and near the tops of these types of leagues at the beginning of when people on this (well the old) board began having these 20 team dynasty leagues, I'd rather go in the Breaking Blue league but if I don't get that spot I'd like to play here. At least then I could start fresh.

Silly Question maybe how many games qualify a player at his posistion, is it solely based on last year's games or how many needed to qualify this year? In the case of injured of rookies who didn't play last year!

For your first question, the standard on yahoo is

 

Player eligibility

After 5 regular season starts at that position, or 10 total appearances at that position during the regular season.

 

 

Pitcher eligibility

After 3 starts during the regular season to become eligible as a starter, or 5 relief appearances during the regular season to qualify as a reliever.

 

If they qualified in 2015, they should have eligiblity in 2016.
