Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 lol @ surprised. If I was rebuilding, Schanuel is the type of guy I'd be targetting. AG is usually all over these guys.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 (edited) I don’t understand why we can’t have more than 3 SPs in the SP spots?? I voted against the change. However, even if it was going to pass, I understood it to be only changing RP slots to P, not restricting the amount of SPs you can start??? Edited October 22, 2023 by Carlos Danger

AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 The SP slots were converted to P slots, but you get an error initially because you have more than 3 pitchers in SP slots. Once you move them out and save it, they'll properly reflect it as P slots.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Anyone have the spreadsheet with draft picks from the past. Fantrax doesn’t seem to go back to 2019 and 2020. I know I had quite a few names like Greene, Jung, Walker, Miller, etc. I need to stop trading so many picks, as I have over the years.

connorp Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Well, a lot more misses then hits for me, but I think big names wise I’d stack up well against anyone Not many impact players any given year. Definitely reasoning to devalue picks a bit I guess

Definitely reasoning to devalue picks a bit I guess It’s a flawed process if you look at only how they turned out now. Specs are an asset. Although a spec might be worth nothing or very little currently, if you used the past value and traded them for something that is of value now, then you made your mlb team better via the draft.

Yeah, of course. I think prospects that you draft have more value than their worth as a pick. You can definitely use them as a currency. It’s just when you look at some full drafts, there’s not a lot of needle movers some years, outside say a couple in the Top 5.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Could listen on Matt Olson if the deal includes a stud bat at 2B, 3B, or CF
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Could listen on Matt Olson if the deal includes a stud bat at 2B, 3B, or CF Just need a 3rd baseman now, also, f*** you.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted November 5, 2023 Posted November 5, 2023 Gonna be moving Bichette and Hunter Greene in the next 24 hours. Hit me up, if you are interested, (and which one), and I'll tell you who I like on your roster that would get the deal done.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 OK, I also need to clear up some roster space. Have the following available for draft picks. Will accept the 1st reasonable offer received: Austin Wells 24 © 743 OPS Mike Ford 31 (1B) 798 OPS 16 HR in 219 AB Jordan Diaz 23(2B/3B) 637 OPS 10 HR in 272 AB DJ Stewart 29 (OF) 839 OPS 11 HR in 406 AB Gabriel Arias 23 (SS) Stone Garrett 27 (OF) 800 OPS 8 HR in 234 AB
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I'd have interest in Kershaw BTS, maybe the best pitcher ever.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 I'd have interest in Kershaw BTS, maybe the best pitcher ever. I ended up getting Kershaw. I’d flip him if the profit was high enough though.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted November 21, 2023 Posted November 21, 2023 Would just be an addon piece to a big deal.
