Jim I’ll give you Grayson Rod and Ian Anderson back. GR is going to skyrocket up the rankings this year. I’m basing that on the 1 IP I saw him at the Futures Game:)

Have Wander, J-Rod, and Brujan on the farm, and a loaded roster of hitters. Pitching much weaker.

Just trying to parlay Adell into his pitching equivalent, you dork.

If not, I'm perfectly happy to roll with Soto, Robles, Buxton, and Adell as OF.

Yup... it's why you're listening in other leagues.

A reasonable opening offer.

It's too bad you elevated your most valuable prospects to the MLB roster. Kills the value somewhat.

I was under the impression it was IP and AB limits for rookies/milbs and not just solely if on MLB roster anymore? Is that not correct?

I’d swap out Casas for Anderson if you wanted

There’s a threshold that once a player reaches, they can no longer be a prospect. In my case though, I promoted guys who haven’t even played yet and you can’t send them back to the minors. So anyone trading for said prospects would have to keep them on their mlb roster

There's a ton of overlap between BORED and DDL owners, so we're proposing rule changes that mirror the new DDL rules. I will now plagiarize njh:

- We will have unregulated promotion and demotion from/to the MiLB roster (in Fantrax you can't demote unless they have a green flag; in Fantrax if an MiLB player loses their flag it does not lock your roster).

- Waiver draft eligibility will be changed to only include prospects who played in AAA in the previous year (or a prior year).

- Free agent eligibility will be changed to only include players with MLB service time. Players making their debut will be eligible to be added at 8PM EST on the day following their first active day on the 25 man roster. If desired, an owner can request before the 8PM EST eligibility time that a commissioner place a debuting player on "debut waivers." A commissioner who places a player on debut waivers has to announce it in this thread. There is no general obligation to use debut waivers, which is an accommodation for owners who can't compete for an 8PM EST add, but there is an obligation for commissioners to respond to requests for debut waivers.

- The only time mandatory promotion thresholds will apply is at the February cut deadline. The thresholds have been increased to 1000 PA and 50 (GS + half of relief appearances). The point of this is to eliminate owners using the MiLB rosters as a loophole to keep an additional MLB player, if that player happened to have a green flag near the end of the season and was therefore able to be demoted.

There are some minor things we'd probably have done a bit differently if the DDL didn't have these rules, but with so many owners participating in both leagues, I think it's best to just have one set of rules to remember when it comes to procedural stuff like this.

As always, open for discussion.

Demotions are now sort of possible in our leagues now that we are in Fantrax. The threshold is simply that players cannot be MiLB keepers in the spring if they have at least 1000 PA or 50 (GS + half of relief appearances). But you can put a green flag player in your minors.

We discussed this several pages back, no changes. Once a player is moved to the MLB roster, cannot go back to minors.

Well I have quoted the decree by BTS.

I am not sure about the order of discussions.

Just browsing the Fantrax settings, there appears to be no restriction on an owner moving a player back to the minors, although such restrictions are possible. Are we following the same rules as for Yahoo wrt MiLB assets? Wondering how it will be enforced.

Right, my mistake. Head commish subsequently said unregulated promotion/demotion.

I'm a terrible co-commish.
