I actually think yahoo should have gotten ahead of this last year when Rizzo started accruing games at 2B, and announced changes to the way they determine position, effective 2018. Make it strictly games started, as you say. Easy fix.

League's top heavy because it's new, draft, etc... most teams in the top 12 have a decent 2nd baseman, final 8 pondering or completely rebuilding.
