I agree. He'll probably get the Chris Carter 2016 role: 200-300 PA at DH, mostly against LHP. He's done as a fantasy asset.

 

He's a year removed from hitting like .270 with 35hr, 105rbi, and 90. He actually started out 2017 on that pace and got hurt. Many teams could do a lot worse at DH. He's always been a depreciated asset because of the obp but he's usually a plus in 6 cats.

 

That said, if it is indeed his swan song, we had a good run. No regrets:)
