I like Reed, although he could quickly become a dead asset. I'll still pull for him. Seager is still the best player in the deal, I think the only way I'll really regret it is if A.J. Reed becomes the masher we thought he might be last offseason.

I gave up Yelich & Sano for McCutch, Todd Frazier, Drew Pomeranz, right before Pomeranz got traded and proceeded to suck/be hurt for the rest of the season. I do agree I gave up a lot, in fact I told P2F several times it made me uncomfortable and I had to sleep on it. At the end of the day, if I lose a trade to a rebuilding team with a good owner, I can live with that.

Actually I disagree with this. He did have a monster year. His wRC+ was on par with Betts, Encarnacion, Cespedes, Goldy, Braun. Safeco dings him a bit, but still had a monster year.

I think everyone is overreacting to his debut tbh. Guys don't just forget how to hit. The biggest worry with Reed for me is that the Astros are stupid AF.
