A good compromise would be to have the Winner and Runner up draft in the last 2 spots and the rest of the order be determined by Regular Season finish. Pretty sure thats how the NFL does it (might be top 4 in playoffs but same thing).

I think the best course of action is for everyone to identify the keepers that are still on their team, drop everyone else, and then add offseason additions from the free agent pool.
