I'll be a good guy and give you an update on the AL East standings then: 1. TB 39-12-3 (have played 3 elite teams) ... 5. BAL 21-33-0 (have played 1 elite team)
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 http://i.imgur.com/TYDkFRE.png Okay so. Did normal PRs. Then I calculated the percentile of each team (number of people below / total people * 100). Split it into 6 buckets. (Index) (Minimum percentile)

Elite 83.33

Great 66.67

Good 50.00

Average 33.33

Bad Second last

Sacko Last

Idk, just testing it out. Do you guys think it's a good representation? Can change stuff.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 What would I do without you? You'd be a little less informed, which is no way to be.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Connor your pitching, woof yeah.. No question.. Gausman is back though and Bailey next month, that'll help. And I'm counting on Bundy to be a SP next year. Not saying that will make my pitching good but my formula is elite O and mediocre pitching.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Man, losing Pollock and Ethier along with Joey Votto turning into Chris Owings has really crippled me. I'm sure I will be having a firesale eventually, so keep that in mind everyone.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Man, I'm just about done with Buxton. Let me know when you're all the way done I have definite interest.

spittin Verified Member Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 Stanton has been holding me back, should I be expecting a 10 HR week from him soon or did he turn into Jay Bruce suddenly.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Stanton has been holding me back, should I be expecting a 10 HR week from him soon or did he turn into Jay Bruce suddenly. Lots of very good hitters off to very bad starts: Gomez, Fielder, Freeman, Upton, Votto, Seager, Abreu, Cabrera, Rendon all have sub-70 wRC+s. Which ones are actually going to have bad years?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 remember when you rejected Buxton for Mazara a month ago? oops Doesn't ring a bell.

He can't hit with his cage/mask. It throws him off his game. Gonna have to wait until he gets rid of it. Then again, he could be permanently ball-shy. It's happened to a lot of players after getting beaned.

But he got hit in 2014, started wearing the cage helmet and then had arguably his best offensive season to date in 2015, which was cut short by another injury. I don't think that's the problem.

BTS Community Moderator Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Gomez looks done. Yeah, his numbers are awful and he looks completely lost at the plate. Him and Upton are probably the most worrisome.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 Yeah, his numbers are awful and he looks completely lost at the plate. Him and Upton are probably the most worrisome. Well Gomez did have an injury/medical issue with the Mets veto of the trade, so maybe that can help explain the struggles. His numbers are so bad though that I'm not optimistic about him turning it around.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 It's funny because Gomez apparently worked his ass off in the off-season. In baseball that doesn't guarantee you much.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 I am open to moving one of Roberto Osuna or David Robertson, but not for end-of-roster fluff.
