BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I can't, seems your mom is fresh out. 2.5/10
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 2.5/10 I don't do well under pressure
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 While RA Dickey is still on the board? Egregious I make my decisions based on looks.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Dinger, I also had Thor ranked #1 among starters left.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Dinger, I also had Thor ranked #1 among starters left. Max Scherzer upside with present production, only 22. Everything under the hood screams ace. I don't think he's the best remaining for 2016 alone, but I'm skewing a bit young on my core... for now.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I'll take JD Martinez. BB up

His sample of MLB innings was big enough that you can be pretty sure he's a #1 caliber starter. At 22 and with no real injury red flags, he was a no-brainer there IMO.

z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Dinger's team is shaping out young
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Excuse me? Maybe if you hadn't traded away all of your picks, you could've grabbed him.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 This must be the first jerk session BTS has lasted longer than 30 seconds in since the 90's.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Dinger's team is shaping out young Yeah I'm going full gibbers.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Yeah I'm going full gibbers. That tends to work out very well every time.
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 All the guys I scooped late in LOD are getting scooped up early. Pollock and now JD. As long as I can get Justin Turner in the 20th round, I'll be in good shape still.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 That tends to work out very well every time. Gibbers could actually field competitive teams if he didn't always trade his franchise stars on their 25th birthday.
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Yeah I'm going full gibbers. Gibbers would have drafted Syndergaard in the first and Buxton in the second. This isn't full Gibbers.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I was actually gonna pass on a pitcher here and take FF until GD sniped me. I hope his wrist is permanently f***ed, you dick.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Gibbers could actually field competitive teams if he didn't always trade his franchise stars on their 25th birthday. That's part of it but he also targets guys with unhelpful skillsets.

I was gonna trade down a few picks and hope he lasted but then I realized you were after me and knew you'd take him, so smd.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Can I get a Bret Sayre take on Freeman? thx
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Can I get a Bret Sayre take on Freeman? thx - Plays for a bad team - Doesn't hit 50 homers per year s***** pick
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Can I get a Bret Sayre take on Freeman? thx Bret Sayre's Steaming Hot Fantasy Take: Freddie Freeman can just flat out hit. It's too bad that he does little else. He might scrape 20 homers over the wall, and if you're lucky he might put together 70 runs and ribeyes in that terrible Atlanta lineup. If he could be counted on for six steals instead of three, then you'd probably move him up a tier, to somewhere just below Eric Hosmer. As is stands though, he's a young second tier 2B that you take in the mid-draft and pray gets traded out of Atlanta at some point soon. If Freddie is the BPA in your dynasty draft, consider trading down and getting a veteran like Prince Fielder.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 And yet your struggle for his approval is real You're like the Harley Quinn to his Joker. Hahahaha...
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Excuse me? Were you targeting him? There was no way he was making it all the way back around
Cyborg Verified Member Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Excellent pick. He lasted far too long. Tried to trade for him but GD inisisted I say who I was taking. Then he took him like a dinkleberry.
