The Blue Jays can let up for one at-bat. This Kansas City Royals team is going for the series kill.

Not sure how that's possible as soon as you hit the ground friction takes over and slows the momentum of the runner. Unless you dive into the air and touch the bag with your hand as you descend on to the ground.

Yeah basically. If you slide too early, you slow yourself down considerably. That's why it's not really worth trying but it's not impossible to make it work.

No, KingKat is right. There's some evidence to suggest a well-timed headfirst slide is faster.[/quote

The study is BS. Putting your center of gravity forward like a sprinter at the finish line is the fastest... when is the last time you saw a runner do a head first slide?

I'm sorry you can't see it. They even analyzed it in slow saying cola took 3 extra steps then threw the ball....that's bad defense.

*Sighs* Listening to Howie.

Liberals also dominated the election when we won in 1993 (Bloq was second nationally, lol).

It's faster headfirst slide, there has been several slomo evidence at high framerate to prove it. They don't do it all the time because its arguably the most dangerous play in baseball to save a fraction of time.

Really?

lol at all the professional baseball players in here. They know it is so easy to play this game under these conditions.
