baubau Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Wow. They have Rodney in the game. That's a white flag if I've ever seen one. I think he's learned how to not tip his pitches. Don't see his elbow poke out as much before he throws his fastball. So that'll help in him not sucking. Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Much like hoverboards and flying cars, it appears back to the future was wrong once again. Although it's funny they get eliminated on Oct 21, 2015.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 WooHoo... History! Dude's on fire.

baubau Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 What gruber wants to know is, does he have the glove? Till then, Goins > Murphy.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Rodney with a -0.7 WAR this year. Kinda shocked a contenting team like the Cubs even have him on the roster.
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Mets are unstoppable with their pitching staff and a hitter as implausibly hot as Daniel Murphy is right now.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 The comeback on. Mr. Smirk with a homerun.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 You should have been a Jay KB. You were ours. :'(
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Let's see if Mets can overcome the LCS sweep jinx. There's been 7 teams that had a LCS sweep since the best of 7 format was introduced in 1985, and only ONE of those teams won the WS, the 95 Braves.

candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I remember the Rockies on a crazy roll. Rolled to the WS, had a long break, then got swept by the Red Sox.
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 The name 'Familia' has always sounded demonic to me. Maybe I just played too much Heroes 3 when I was younger.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Back 2 The Future you failed the Cubies.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Hes already got his shirt and goggles on lol
baubau Verified Member Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Grats to the Mets and also Cubbies. I imagine this series will be fun to watch throughout the coming years with how these teams are currently built.
