Nafro Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 This is why we got him. To all you "he's a playoff choker" non-believer's. Sit back and enjoy the game today.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Hoping for an ace caliber game, 7-8 innings ball of 2 runs or so.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 He better dominate today
SAAviour Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Going down 0-2 to KC is a lot different then 0-2 to the garbage Rangers with Perez and Holland lined up. Today we need Price to dominate! Make us not care ever again about giving up Norris today Price.

Doesn't change the fact that we need to even the series up though.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 What a great Friday...Jays lost and I found a wallet
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 There is no debate about Price....he needs to be the cy young pitcher he believes he is... No ifs... No ands... No nerves... He needs to dominate like Volquez last night. Everything else is a sideshow. Want the money? 9-1 in stretch means s*** if you dont show it in the postseason. Tired about hearing hes an ace, at best hes the third best starter on this team right now, getting outpitched by a guy coming off acl and another guy with one pitch...and even a 40 yr old knuckler

He has only pitched a handful of innings in 3 weeks. They have given a rental an incredible amount of rest and insist there is nothing wrong with him health wise. I'm confident he will show up today. If we can take one of two that's huge.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 We can't let ourselves be shutdown by Ventura, we need to hammer him from the 1st inning onward just in case Price isn't sharp again.
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Bound to run into a steamroller every series, Volquez was that guy. Split today is all you could really ask for two days ago agreed. Just want to see some movement, hit his spots and dominate. Royals are very potent at home, these games are decdied by most doubles and fielding.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Yes he had a rough few starts. But lets not forget, this is David Price. I'm not nervous, I think he will come through.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 He's actually only had one rough start and it wasn't actually that rough. I don't know why people are so worried. He's our ace. He has only had 2 starts since sept 26th. I'm not that worried and yes....he is our ace. Still very odd to me he didn't start game 4 or 5 as an ace when we have seen Kershaw on 3 days rest and Dallas K on same pitch key gms for their teams.
Johnny King Vancouver Canadians - A+ LHP He took the Loss, but the 19-year-old southpaw gave up one run on five hits and a walk in five innings on Wednesday night. Explore Johnny King News >
