pickoff22 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Sure this is in gameday thread but at the game and don't have time to go through it all. Can someone tell me what they've said about JD please
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 He got kneed in the helmet sliding into second and had a small cut on his forehead. There haven't been any status updates.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Removed for "precautionary reasons" is the official word as of right now.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Who comes back first (or at all); Donaldson or Beltre?
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Donaldson. Most likely pulled him for concussion tests.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Who comes back first (or at all); Donaldson or Beltre? Donaldson's looked more serious, but Beltre's is more nagging... Hopefully Donaldson is back tomorrow.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Who comes back first (or at all); Donaldson or Beltre? If Donaldson has a concussion, he won't be back this series. If not, I'd expect him in there tomorrow. Beltre could barely move, so I have trouble believing he'd be able to field or hit in the next few days.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/mlb/485420/donaldson-lifted-after-taking-knee-to-head The most current info, and will have updates on JD` status.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Concussion test on Donaldson is NEGATIVE. He is expected to play tomorrow. Bautista is as well.
Cyris Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Donaldson passed concussion protocol per Rosenthal For anyone who missed it on the broadcast
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Concussion test on Donaldson is NEGATIVE. He is expected to play tomorrow. Bautista is as well. Why did they remove Bautista?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Why did they remove Bautista? Right hamstring tightness.

Billy Bats Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Donalson passed concussion tests he`s cleared. Him and Bautista are both expected to play tomorrow
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Donalson passed concussion tests he`s cleared. Him and Bautista are both expected to play tomorrow Donaldson remains questionable. May be a game time decision. May also be a good idea to rest him(If not 100%),and save him for Texas. Bautista should play.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Should be fine I'd think... if not for tomorrow I'd have to think he'll be fine for game 3. Thank god that helmet remained on his head when the Odor's knee went in. In case where he can't play, I wonder if Gibby will stick with Penny or take a gamble with either Bautista or EE at third... I think Bautista only played there once this year and EE none so it'd be risky for sure... We're all sure missing Valencia in times like this huh...

Thank god that helmet remained on his head when the Odor's knee went in. more a case of head to knee than knee to head. Odor didn't have anywhere to go. it was a very good take out by JD. unfortunate that he got hurt and unfortunate the jays didn't score more in that inning.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Rosenthal. Always trust the jew.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 and unfortunately odor was a couple of inches taller ... or had more hops... I remember that the Jays were in on Odor during the IFA signing period. I think it was the same year we nabbed Osuna.
