Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 3 more outs Bal/Britton
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 We were due for a bad series. Watch out Yanks, we're coming for you and we're pissed the f*** off.
NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Good eye, Cola! Now pinch hit for Martin!
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 10 successful years in the bigs and you think he still needs his hitting coach by his side? no. But at this point it seems to be more than just him adjusting to the AL. His swing seems off.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Tulo seems to be hitting everything into the ground. I wonder if he's missing his old hitting coach. Noticed this too, barely anything is being hit squarely on the barrel. Even that hit yesterday was a weak bouncer that just happened to find a hole. And it seems like his K's have increased a lot ever since he was moved into the 5 hole...
NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 That was a pathetic swing.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 You've gotta be concerned with our staff now that Hutchinson cannot be counted on, Buehrle is nearing the end and Stroman is an unknown. We can't afford any let downs with Price/Dickey/Estrada.

His K rate has actually increased this season and walk rate down. Wouldn't surprise me if this was a big downward regression. Thankfully he's superior on D
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Martin's swing right now is awful. Head pulling off the ball.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Wow,just got home. Another blow out loss. Definite reason to be concerned. Sept swoon?
labadee Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 you can't tied this game up with one swing, martin. don't try and do too much and get on base...
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Martin's swing right now is awful. Head pulling off the ball. Yep.
NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 He should just take all the way here.
NaturalGrass Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Would have been a strike out, but whatever.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Put in subs. Rest JD, Tulo for NY.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 8 double plays this series yikes.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Brian McCann WAR 3.5 Russ Martin WAR 2.7
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Wow,just got home. Another blow out loss. Definite reason to be concerned. Sept swoon? Too early but the pitching with hutch and Buehrle hurt is concerning.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Gibby does something right!!
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 If orioles win no ground lost at least.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Wow,just got home. Another blow out loss. Definite reason to be concerned. Sept swoon? I'm not as concerned about the blowout since for all three of our blowouts, it's been our back end pen guys that has made the damage look much worse than it is. And two of the blowouts were Hutch starts which we always knew had a good chance of blowing up... at this point, I'm more concerned with some of our bats cooling down.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) Good thing Gibbons said he is not married to the idea of Tulo batting 5th,because this offense looked scarier when he was batting 1st. Edited September 10, 2015 by comeon sense
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 bench players galore and STILL no Pompey, LOL.
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 bench players galore and STILL no Pompey, LOL. Pompey is on bro.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 O's first and second one out and Davis up.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 bench players galore and STILL no Pompey, LOL. He's in centre.. Good call Gibbons.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 The Blue Jays haven't hit today, but the Red Sox have played very well. Luckily the Blue Jays will still be in first going into New York, hopefully by 1 1/2 games. 2 wins out of four games in New York would suffice and then do well in Atlanta. Baltimore is beating New York 5 - 3 now with a runner on 3rd and only one out.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
