Russell Martin has called a horrific game tonight. Hasn't called a single high and inside fastball on Mr. Adderall. Davis is a easy out if you attack up and in and breaking stuff down in the zone. You can actually throw junk in the dirt and he has a high frequency to swing at it with two strikes.

Yeah I agree. How do you not know how to pitch Davis by now?

Inconsistent yes. You can't trust him in the postseason. Doubt he makes a start in October.

 

Hutch is a 2015 version of 1993 Todd Stottlemyre.

well sure Buck, if you don't look at all the pitches Hutch hung belt high the first 5 innings, then sure it came out of nowhere. SMH

He's been bad all year. At least very inconsistent.

 

he's coming off an outing where he f***ed up a very good Tigers lineup. I know the trendy thing to do is hate on Hutch but he's not been terrible all year, give me a break
