500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 You have to deal with a lot of tire kickers on kijiji or idiots sometimes. I sold my pair of Game 1 ALDS tickets pretty easily on kijiji for $550. First guy that called took them and met him that morning, so it was easy. Same thing with when I sold my pair against the Yankees in August, the girl met me down near the ACC the next night. Right now people are listing tickets on kijiji pretty high. Saw a listing where some guy wants $700 for a pair of 500's in Sec 533 and 534, Row 1. 533 1st row is a pretty sick seat, but $700 for a non world series clinching game in the 500s is a crazy. Great seat tho.
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I don't understand people sometimes, like whenever I have bought stuff off there I never haggle that is so disrespectful. I had a spare TTC metro card that my girlfriend didn't need one month and I was selling it for $120 and I met up with this girl and she was like "Oh will you take 90?" and I told her umm no and then she tried $100 and then finally she goes "Ohhhhh okaaayyyy you're tough, here is the money" meanwhile the girl had honestly $400 in 50's and 20's in her wallet so annoying. Now you know why she had all those 50s and 20s in her purse. Smart negotiator, cept i woulda talked you down tp the 100$

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 You found a buyer for the metropass for $120? The f***. Considering the risk of having a fake, why would anyone pay that much for a used metropass It was for the month of September and I was selling it in August, I get it for $125 through work so it was a full month of use for the buyer and I don't know I guess people have to trust people, I would never scam anyone.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 In this case I do. My budget is $150 maybe $160 each. Just looking to get in the door as cheap as possible. Thanks for the offer though. Face value 500s are $111 or $121.

geer36 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Face value 500s are $111 or $121. I know they are and if I get for $150, great. I just can't do any more than that.

TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I have a single for game 3, section 130C, row 10. Someone make me a reasonable offer and its yours. Can email it tonight. Face value was $236 including fees. Anyone willing to give me $275 for it? Thats only a $39 mark up.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Or the fact she was Asian and Asian's are known for being extremely cheap. You're pretty f***ing ignorant.
The Stro Show Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Game 4 tickets seem to be going for a lot cheaper in comparison to game 3, is this because of the start time and the pitching matchup?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Because no one thinks the Jays are going to win and thus are evacuating Earth.
The Stro Show Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Because no one thinks the Jays are going to win and thus are evacuating Earth. I meant in comparison to game 3 lol

AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Anyone looking for a single for Tuesday I have section 102 row 12 ... will sell for $170 CAD
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I'd do my game 4 section 239 for face value $150. Let me know, can't go just wanna get my money back
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 $180 for 500 level seats or $280 for 100 level seats, singles.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Its funny, there is less demand for ALCS tickets. Tickets for the ALCS are actually selling for less than they were for game 1 of the ALDS, despite the face value of upper deck seats being double. Its f***ed. Anyways, I have 2 seats behind home plate in 525 row 7. Also 2 seats 238 row 6. Also a single in 130C Row 10. Contact me if interested.
500LevelSTH Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Or the fact she was Asian and Asian's are known for being extremely cheap. Stereotypes....lovely. Sigh
clambake Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Selling the following seats: Game 3: 130 B, row 16 ($500 for the pair) 128, row 15 ($220 single) Game 4: 130 B, row 16 ($500 for the pair) 536, row 9 ($200 for the pair) 130 B, row 21 ($220 single) 130 D, row 20 ($220 single) 130 D, row 14 ($220 single) Game 5: 130B, row 16 ($500 pair)

clambake Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 For the singles, slightly. For the pairs, slightly more.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 For the singles, slightly. For the pairs, slightly more. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Unless you're trying to undercut the other posters on here who are selling tickets just so that they drop their prices.

I'm just looking at StubHub prices and they're coming down to Earth. Just want to sell the games the tickets i dont want to use and not incur a loss
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Stubhub prices freakin plummeted. I sold mine and feel lucky to have gotten face value back. Lots of people gonna lose money I think
The Stro Show Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Stubhub prices freakin plummeted. I sold mine and feel lucky to have gotten face value back. Lots of people gonna lose money I think How much are face value 500s? Just so i know what is a good resale price to buy at
The Stro Show Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 You're selling them less than face value? Good luck getting anyone to buy at your prices when they are going for less than face value in some cases on the Stub lol
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I think 110 - 125. Problem is the buyer probably won't get face value because of the 15% usd fee. The only reason I got face value back is because of the conversion rate and fact that they only charge seller 10%. I sold my sec239 ticket for 132.00 then they took 13.20 fee, so I got 118.80. They give you like 1.25 rate on conversion so I get just under 150. I actually lost like 3 dollars. There's 500 level pairs for under 100 a piece right now
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Everyday there's more tickets for game 4 available. The idea of watching Ra dickey fizzle out to end the season might be a painful one. I'm sure the market will improve a bit if Jay's win Monday though. But there's almost 10,000 tickets available for game 4
DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 There's some pairs available for 260ish after fees and conversion, not sure it'll come down from that, but who knows at this rate.
