Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I don't agree with the Stroman/Harris comparison, it seems weak. 1. AA is a way higher level than the NWL (A-) 2. In Stromans "8 games" he pitched a grand total of.. 8 innings http://i.imgur.com/aY1XhdF.png In the case of Jon Harris, there is reason to be concerned because of the reports that his stuff has taken a step back. I agree that it's too early to jump off the ledge, though. http://i.imgur.com/lqjpbGk.png not making a comparison pointing out, again, that minor league stats can be misleading. who knows what harris is working on, or what stroman was doing when he was walking 6.75/9 for 8 AA games.

Very different players. Stroman pitched 19 innings because he was suspended for getting caught using a banned substance. There was plenty of reason to be concerned at this point in Stroman's career. Harris has literally doubled his career high in innings. Fatigue and struggles are expected given his workload this season.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 lol anyway, this is a stupid reactionary thread
